Vicki Steinbach

Vicki Lynn Steinbach, beloved wife, mother, sister, and friend, left this world on March 23, 2025 at a hospital in Irving, TX. Born on December 14, 1951, Vicki was the oldest of two children born to the late Elvin Ray "Pete" Stanfield and the late Bennie Maxine Seguin Stanfield. Her spirit, vibrant and playful, brought joy to all who were fortunate enough to know her. A true devotee of life, Vicki embraced each day with a cheerful heart, filling her home with laughter and love. She was an avid fan of "The Young and the Restless," often engaging in spirited discussions about her favorite characters, her opinions sharp and unwavering. Those fortunate enough to be loved by Vicki were enveloped in a warmth that can only come from a heart that knew no bounds. She cared selflessly for her aging parents, serving as their devoted caretaker for five years until their passing, a testament to her unwavering love and compassion. Vicki had a deep passion for reading and travel, finding solace and adventure within the countless books she read and the dozens of places she visited. She was a seeker of stories, both written and lived, and her own story weaves a rich tapestry of love, laughter, and cherished memories. Vicki leaves behind her devoted husband, Thomas "Tom" John Steinbach, her treasured daughter, Sarah Steinbach, her loving brother, John Nicholas "Nicky" Stanfield along with nieces, nephews and in-laws. Each of them carries a piece of her spirit, forever intertwined in the love they shared. In remembrance of Vicki, a celebration of her life will be held at 6 pm Thursday, March 27, 2025 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home Chapel, 500 E Main St, Grand Prairie, TX. Family and friends will gather to share stories, laughter, and tears as they honor the beautiful soul who touched so many lives. We invite all those who encountered her light to come together in a spirit of love and remembrance. Vicki Steinbach may have departed this earth, but her spirit will forever shine brightly in the hearts of those she cherished. As we navigate this world without her, we carry her legacy-of kindness, strength, and an undying love that, like her favorite soap opera, knows no end.
