Patricia Marie Whitley

Patricia Marie Whitley, 55, passed away on July 17, 2026, in Arlington, Texas. Patricia was born on April 13, 1971, in Grand Prairie, Texas, to Herbert Erwin Hebbe, Jr. and Patricia Ann Doughty. A lifelong resident of Grand Prairie, she was proud to have been born and raised in the community she called home. She attended Grand Prairie ISD schools and graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1989. She later attended community college and devoted her career to caring for others as a medical assistant. Patricia shared more than 35 wonderful years of marriage with the love of her life, Jimmie Whitley. Together they built a home filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories. She was the definition of a selfless person, always putting the needs of others before her own. Patricia would do anything for anyone and was known for her kind heart, generous spirit, and unwavering willingness to help those around her. She always wore a smile and faced life's challenges without complaint, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know her. Above all, Patricia treasured her family. Her greatest joy was spending time with her beloved grandchildren, who brought endless happiness to her life. She also enjoyed traveling, especially taking cruises, and looked forward to visits to WinStar Casino to try her luck on the "one-armed bandits." Patricia loved spending time with her husband watching sports, even though she would often admit that sports weren't really her favorite. What mattered most to her was simply being together. Patricia is survived by her devoted husband, Jimmie Whitley; her daughters, Emily Oliva and husband Frank, and Ashlee Magdaleno and husband David; her cherished grandchildren, Destiny Olivo, Frank Olivo, Jr., and Delilah Magdaleno; her mother, Patricia Hebbe; and her sister, Mary Lightfoot and husband Barry, along with numerous extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish her memory. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Erwin Hebbe, Jr., in 2017. Family and friends are invited to a visitation from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 24, 2026, at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E. Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas 75050. A Celebration of Life will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 25, 2026, at the funeral home, with interment immediately following at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Patricia's beautiful smile, compassionate heart, and unconditional love for her family and friends will be deeply missed but lovingly remembered by all whose lives she touched. Her legacy of kindness, generosity, and love will continue to live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
