Born on August 21, 2010, in Irving, TX, Miguel's passing on October 14, 2024, has left a void in the world that no words can heal. An accidental departure that stole him away from us too early, Mikey touched the lives of many with his innate kindness, compassion, and unwavering spirit. A young man of many talents, Mikey was a young soul who embodied grace and power, deftly maneuvering between his love for music, sports, and academic pursuits. From mastering musical instruments like the flute, drums, and guitar to showcasing his athletic skill on the football field and basketball court, Miguel's versatility knew no bounds. A student at Newman International Academy in Cedar Hill, Miguel's aspirations for the future shimmered with the promise of a bright destiny, one where his desire to become a physician or law enforcement official could bloom. A gentle giant with a heart, Mickey's presence radiated warmth and his infectious personality could turn the darkest of days into moments of joy. His bonds with his grandparents, Lidia and Dario Franco, stood as a testament to the depth of love Mikey held in his heart. His mother Karen Franco, step-father Raul Lopez, father Miguel Miranda; brothers Benjamin and Julian Lopez; aunts, Sonia Franco, Claudia Vargas; uncle, Dario Franco; cousins, Analisse, Alani and Nelson Jr., and all who knew him, will forever cherish the memories of his laughter, his smiles, and the love he freely shared with the world. As we gather to honor Miguel's life and legacy, we invite you to join us in celebrating the precious time we were blessed to share with him. A Public Visitation will occur on Saturday, October 19, 2024 from 2 until 4 pm at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050 where a Funeral Services will follow at 4.
