Fabian Lopez Sr.

With heavy hearts and unwavering love, we celebrate the life of Fabian Lopez, Sr., who was born on October 28, 1981, to Emilia Lopez. Following his birth, Fabian was lovingly adopted and raised by his grandmother, Guadalupe Lopez, whose guidance, strength, and unconditional love helped shape the man he became. Fabian grew up in the Dallas–Fort Worth area and graduated from Grand Prairie High School in 2001. He was known for his strong work ethic, kind heart, and unwavering dedication to his family. Throughout his adult life, he worked in a variety of occupations, always believing that providing for those he loved was one of life's greatest responsibilities. No matter the challenge, Fabian approached each day with determination and perseverance. On February 14, 2012, Valentine's Day, Fabian was united in holy matrimony with the love of his life, Victoria. Their marriage was built on love, commitment, and friendship, and together they were blessed with two wonderful sons who became the center of his world. Fabian was a devoted husband and a proud father whose greatest joy came from spending time with his family and watching his boys grow. Fabian was a lifelong and passionate fan of the Dallas Cowboys. Every football season brought renewed hope, and with a smile he would confidently proclaim, "This is our year!" His enthusiasm and loyalty to his team brought laughter and became one of the many cherished memories his family and friends will forever hold close. In 2014, Fabian was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension. Rather than allowing the disease to define him, he faced every challenge with courage, resilience, and faith. He became a dedicated member of the Dallas Pulmonary Hypertension Support Group, where he found encouragement and, in turn, inspired others through his strength and determination. Fabian fought this disease with everything he had and refused to let it keep him from embracing life, making memories, and loving those around him. Fabian was preceded in death by his mother, Emilia Lopez; his beloved grandmother, Guadalupe Lopez; and his brother, Julian Lopez. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife, Victoria Lopez; his sons, Adrian Niño and Fabian Lopez, Jr.; his brother, James Lopez; and a host of cherished aunts, uncles, cousins, extended family members, and dear friends whose lives were forever touched by his kindness, humor, and unwavering love. Fabian's legacy is one of perseverance, devotion, and unconditional love. Though he will be deeply missed, his strength, laughter, generous spirit, and the countless memories he created will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
