Cristobal "Cris" Trevino

Cristobal "Cris" Trevino, a beloved husband, devoted father, and retired barber, peacefully passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 75 from a life-long battle with cancer. Born on March 7, 1948, in Robstown, Texas, Cris lived a life filled with love, laughter, and profound connections. Cris served proudly in the US Army, stationed in Germany, where he valiantly served his country. Following his military service, he returned to civilian life and embraced his passion for barbering. For over four decades, Cris touched the lives of countless individuals, creating not only meticulously crafted haircuts but also lasting bonds with his clients, who became his extended family. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Cris treasured his role as a loving husband. He was fortunate to share a joyous journey of fifty years of marriage with his devoted wife, Linda Trevino. Their union was built on a foundation of unwavering love, unwavering support, and an unbreakable bond. As a father, Cris was a pillar of strength for his five daughters, guiding them with patience, kindness, and a gentle heart. His dedication to his family was unwavering, and he found immense joy in witnessing their triumphs and being a constant source of encouragement in their lives. Cris will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him. His warm smile, infectious laughter, and compassionate spirit touched the lives of everyone he encountered. His legacy of love and kindness will live on forever in the hearts of his family and friends. Survivors: spouse, Linda; children; Cristina Trevino and spouse Kristopher, Katherine Trevino, Rebecca de La Rosa, Lynsey Webster, Dylan Burke, Stephanie Reyes and Fred Scott; 7 grandchildren; siblings; Marta Medina, Carlos Trevino and many family and friends. The visitation and Praryer Serevice of Cris's life will commence with a public viewing on November 27, 2023, at Guerrero Dean Funeral Home, beginning at 5:00 pm. Following the viewings, a Mass of Christian Burial will be held on November 28, 2023, at 11:00 am, at St. Michael the Archangel Church, 2910 Corn Valley, Grand Prairie, TX, 75052 where prayers and reflections will be offered in honor of Cris's life. Finally, a graveside service will take place at DFW National Cemetery at 1:00 pm, where military honors will be bestowed upon Cris to commemorate his honorable service to his country.
