Chris "CK" Kirchmeyer

Christopher Andrew "C.K." Kirchmeyer, beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, left us peacefully on January 19, 2026, at the age of 53. Born on August 6, 1972, in Dallas, Texas, Christopher was the youngest of five children and was raised in Mesquite, Texas, where he graduated from North Mesquite High School in 1990. His life was marked by a generous spirit, a commitment to service, and a love for his family and community. Christopher loved to sing. He appeared many times over the years at The Garland Opry, Johnnie High's Country Music Revue, and other venues throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. He regularly performed the National Anthem at Lone Star Park. He was a volunteer and supporter of the Transplant Games when they were held in Texas, and he was instrumental in organizing the first dart competition held in the games. Christopher dedicated over five years of his professional life to GM Financial, where he worked in IT, applying his skills and passion for technology to support others. Alongside his career, he was a devoted member of the Moose Fraternity, serving in numerous roles, including Ritual President and Board member of Lone Star 97, Past President of the Council of Higher Degree, and Chaplain of the Lodge Board of Haltom City. His dedication to the fraternity reflected his commitment to community service and connection with others. Christopher was a proud Navy Veterian and loving husband to Angela Trimble, and a proud father to Christopher and Marcella Kirchmeyer. He is also survived by grandchildren and siblings. He found joy in the simple pleasures of life, whether it was playing darts or engaging with friends through the Fort Worth Dart Association and Metroplex Dart Association. His laughter, kindness, and enthusiasm for life will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. To honor Christopher's remarkable life, a funeral service will be held on January 28, 2026, at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050 at 6:30 p.m. A public viewing will take place earlier that same evening from 6 to 8 pm. We invite all who were touched by Christopher's warmth and spirit to join us in celebrating his life, reflecting on the cherished memories we hold, and embracing the love he shared. An inurnment will follow at a later date at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, TX. Christopher Andrew Kirchmeyer will be remembered not only for his accomplishments but, more importantly, for the love and compassion he extended to everyone around him. May he rest in peace, forever in our hearts. Christopher was preceded in death by his parents, the late Richard Kirchmeyer and the late Audrey Osborn Kirchmeyer.
