Juan Norat-Zayas, 76, a retired employee of American Airlines, was called to his eternal home on Thursday, August 26, 2021. Visitation: 12pm to 6 p.m. and his celebration of life will be at 7pm to 9 p.m. Monday, September 6, 2021 at Templo Cristiano Yadah, 2001 E Division Street, Suite 107, Arlington, Texas, 76011 Burial: 11:15 a.m. Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honors. Juan Norat-Zayas was born on March 9, 1945 in Cayey, Puerto Rico, the son of the late Juan Norat-Zayas and the late Matilde Norat. Juan was a skilled mechanic and loved working and racing cars. He was cheerful, smiling and wanted everyone to be happy. His happiness came from the Lord, and he reminded us to "rejoice in life and don't worry about the things that are temporary". Survivors include his wife, Pastor Priscilla Norat; children, Juan Pablo Norat, Priscilla Norat, Juan Carlos Norat, Denise Arcaya-Norat; daughter-in-law, Glenda Norat; son-in-law Dale Lackey and Hector Arcaya; grandchildren, Jonathan Norat, Ainara Norat, Noah Norat, Mariah Fleck, Adrienne Fleck, Mateo Norat, Harper Norat, Diego Arcaya, Marco Arcaya and a large host of friends and extended family members. Visitación: 12 pm a 6 pm y su celebración de la vida será de 7 pm a 9 pm el lunes 6 de septiembre, 2021 en el Templo Cristiano Yadah, 2001 E Division Street, Suite 107, Arlington, Texas, 76011 Entierro: 11:15 am martes, 7 de septiembre de 2021 en el Cementerio Nacional de Dallas-Fort Worth con honores militares. Juan Norat-Zayas nació el 9 de marzo de 1945 en Cayey, Puerto Rico, hijo del fallecido Juan Norat-Zayas y la fallecida Matilde Norat. Juan era un mecánico experto y le encantaba trabajar y competir con carros de carreras. Siempre fue alegre, sonriente y quería que todos fueran felices. Su felicidad venía del Señor, y nos recordó "regocijarnos en la vida y no preocuparnos por las cosas que son temporales".
