On Saturday, November 14, 2020, Gloria Garcia, loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister, passed away suddenly at the age of 72. She was surrounded by her loving family. Gloria was born on July 30, 1948 in Sweetwater, Texas. Gloria was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She especially enjoyed her role as "Momo" to her 10 grandchildren. She enjoyed spending her time watching her soaps on television and spending time with her family. Gloria is survived by her husband of fifty-five years Guadalupe "Lupe" Garcia; her children, Sandy Huffines and spouse Rick Huffines, Tony Garcia, Joe Garcia, Michelle Rhoades and spouse Chris Rhoades, Cynthia Garcia and spouse Damien Hunt, Christina Garcia and her 10 grandchildren; Matthew Wofford, Jordan Garcia, Dakota Garcia, Hunter Jackson, Morgan Esterline, Chace Anderson, Hayden Anderson, Langston Hunt, Rickey Huffines, and Gia Hunt. Gloria is also survived by her siblings, Dora Gaona, Odilia Gaona, Robert Gaona, her dog Scout and many nieces and nephews. Gloria was preceded in death by her son, Guadalupe Garcia Jr., her father, Pedro Gaona and brothers, Richard Gaona and Guadalupe Gaona. Gloria was also preceded in death by her first grandson, Joseph Wofford Jr. and her feisty dog Fred. Family and friends are invited to attend a viewing, which will be held at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home from 5 to 8 p.m., Wednesday, November 18, 2020, with a Rosary service at 6:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated in memory of Gloria on Thursday, November 19, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church (610 N E 17th St Grand Prairie, TX 75050). Burial Service will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, November 20, 2020, at Parkdale Cemetery (Meet at 9:30am Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home).
