Arbert Marion Lindley

June 8, 1945 - November 8, 2020

Arbert "Al" Marion Lindley went to be with the Lord November 8, 2020. He was a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. He served our country as a member of the United States Army and was awarded the Army Commendation Medal for meritorious service while assigned to the United States Army support command, Qui Nhon, Republic of Vietnam. He is preceded in death by his wife Elizabeth Lindley of 41 years and parents Theodore and Jewell Lindley. He is survived by his son Michael and wife Julie and grandsons Reagan and Ryan; son Mark and favorite grandson Drake Allen; brother Malcolm Wayne and wife Margie; sister Dora Olivian and husband Brian Vinson; brother-in-law Roger Vincell and wife Carol; sister-in-law Rosemary Titus and husband Lynn. He is also survived by a host of many special friends and other family members. Celebration of life will be held at 12 p.m. Monday, December 7, 2020, at California Lane Church of Christ, 1906 California Lane Arlington, TX 76015. Followed by interment at 2 p.m. at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek PKWY Dallas, TX 75211. Proverbs 3: 5-6 Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.
