Ann C Silber

July 29, 1952 - December 11, 2021

It is with profound sadness that the family of Sarah Ann Carlisle Silber announce her peaceful passing on Saturday, December 11, 2021 at the age of 69 in Carrollton, Texas. Ann was born in Austin, Texas to Newton and Elizabeth Carlisle. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband of 31 years, Charles Silber; her beloved daughter and son-in-law, Cheryl and Damien Smith; grandchildren: Ashton, Samuel, Daniel, Michael, Dominic, and Audrey Smith; sister Jane Maxwell; sister Kay (Stewart) Ash; Brother-in law Bruce Silber; Goddaughter and niece Melissa (Steve) Csongei; niece Deanna (Greg) Devore; nephew Carlisle (Karla) Maxwell; great nieces and nephews: Jack Maxwell, Colin Maxwell, and Samantha Devore; and dog, Prissy. Ann was a proud graduate of the University of Texas and a member of the Delta Zeta sorority where she made lifelong flamingo sisters. She spent over 40 years working in insurance and account management around Dallas. Ann served on numerous committees within her church and loved serving and feeding the elderly in her community. Ann was an avid sewer, embroiderer, and quilter and blessed others with her personalized and thoughtful gifts. With every interaction, she had an enormous impact, a glowing smile, and left a huge impression on others. A celebration of her life will be held at Christ United Methodist Church, 2807 Valwood Parkway, Farmers Branch, Texas 75234 on Thursday, December 30th at 11 a.m. The service will be live- streamed at Christ4U.org/onlineworship. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Metrocrest Services, www.metrocrestservices.org.
