Tamara Jane Hale, 61, loving daughter, sister, aunt, and great aunt passed to her eternal reward on Monday evening, July 11, 2022 at home surrounded by her family and special friends. Visitation: Monday, July 18, 2022 from 6:00-8:00 p.m. at Guerrero Dean Funeral Home Services: Tuesday, July 19, 2022 at 10:00 a.m. at Guerero Dean Funeral Home. Tammy Hale was born on August 4, 1960 in Arlington, Texas, the 2nd of 3 children born to the late George Glen Hale and the late Carroll Jane Phelps Hale. Tammy loved being with her family and watching the Dallas Mavericks. Tammy worked at DFW airport for several years after high school doing security at baggage check-in. She later worked for Foley's and then Morningstar in Grand Prairie doing housekeeping. Tammy loved being able to visit with the elderly residents and helping them with whatever they may have needed. She loved watching most sports but basketball was one of her favorites. She especially loved watching the Dallas Mavericks basketball team. She would fuss at them when they were getting beat and cheer for them when they were winning. You should have heard her the night they won the NBA Championship! Of course, her favorite Maverick was Dirk. More than anything, Tammy enjoyed being with her family. She looked forward to family gatherings...birthdays, holidays, and just simple family meals. She loved watching her great niece, Juliette, play softball. She also loved to get up every day and put on make-up and get dressed even if it she didn't have plans to go anywhere..."you never know when you might need to go somewhere". Tammy was a member of and attended Hillcrest Baptist Church in Cedar Hill, Texas. She loved attending church with her family when she was able, but was also faithful to watch at home when COVID didn't allow her to attend. Joshua 1:9 is a verse that describes how Tammy lived her life and in the end how she faced her death. "...Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go." Those who will miss her most dearly include her brother; Phil Hale, her sister; Angela Hale Jones and her husband Brent; her niece; Megan Jones Lambe and her husband Jordan, her nephew; Glen Jones, her great nieces; Juliette Lambe, Caroline Lambe, Elliott Lambe, and Amelia Lambe, and her aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends that referred to her as Aunt Tammy or Aunt Mammy.
