Mrs. Rose Mary Young

Born on May 25, 1944, in the picturesque town of Natchitoches, Louisiana, Rose Mary Young lived a life filled with joy, love, and adventure. She touched the hearts of those around her with her infectious laughter, unwavering kindness, and love for Christ. On August 27, 2023, Rose Mary peacefully passed away at hospital in Fort Worth, Texas at the age of 79. Although her departure leaves an undeniable void in the lives of her loved ones, her memory will live on forever, serving as a reminder of the remarkable woman she was. Rose was a devoted wife to her beloved John Young, a partner in life's journey that lasted over two decades. Together, they shared a bond that was unbreakable, supporting each other through thick and thin. Their love story was a testament to the power of true companionship and will continue to inspire generations to come. Reflecting on Rose's remarkable life, we celebrate her many achievements and the profound impact she had on those who knew her. She loved the Lord! Rose was spiritually anointed from the day she was born. Her father and mother were the leaders of the family who truly worshipped God." Her kindness and compassion knew no bounds, always extending a helping hand or prayer to those in need. She had an extraordinary ability to light up any room with her radiant smile, instantly making everyone around her feel valued and loved. A lover of travel, Rose collected countless memories through her adventures on cruises. From her travels, she embraced life to the fullest, always seeking new experiences and finding joy in the simplest of pleasures. Her vibrant spirit will forever be etched in the hearts of all who had the privilege of sharing those moments with her. Her favorite color was black as she wore clothes of that color. She loved roses from her rose bushes. She would say she didn't want any pets, but she loved her pup, RJ. Rose Mary's memory will be cherished by her dear friends and extended family. She leaves behind a legacy of love and a treasure trove of memories that will be remembered fondly by all. As we gather to honor her life, let us come together to celebrate the incredible woman she was, the lives she touched, and the indelible mark she leaves on our hearts. Family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, September 7, 2023 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75050. Funeral services and ceremonies will be held at 11 a.m. on September 8, 2023, at Grace Fellowship Church, 1690 W Polo Road, Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052. Burial will follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Please join us in bidding our final farewell to Rose Mary Young as we pay tribute to her extraordinary life. She is survived by her loving husband, John Cleburne Young; sons, Joshua Davis, Jonathan Davis; granddaughter, Maddy Davis and grandson, Mason Davis. Step children, Wendy Gourley, Brad Young, and Courtney McEntee. and many special friends. Together they had 9 grandchildren and one great-granddaughter. While we mourn the loss of Rose Mary Young, we also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the legacy she leaves behind. May her soul rest in eternal peace, knowing that she made a difference in the lives of so many.
