Noe Hinojosa

Noe Hinojosa, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother, and friend, passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family on July 1, 2024, at 9:37 a.m. at Arlington Memorial Hospital in Arlington, Texas. He was born on January 8, 1958, in Corpus Christi, Texas to the late Delfina Cevallos and Jose Hinojosa. He grew up in Corpus Christi with 6 older sisters and 2 brothers. Noe left his childhood home to work in Dallas, Texas where he fell in love with the love of his life, Tammy Aleman. Noe and Tammy were married on April 17, 1988. Together, they had two beautiful children, Matthew Wayne Hinojosa, and Diana Hinojosa, and five adorable grandchildren, Sophia, Olivia, Jailyn, Mia, and Brandon. They spent the next 36 years in Grand Prairie, Texas building a beautiful life of love, joy, and happiness. Professionally, Noe was a truck driver where he worked with his father-in-law, Jesse Aleman, and later ventured off on his own. His work ethic and dedication were admired by all those he worked alongside with throughout the years. Noe was highly respected and loved by all who knew him on the job site. An avid grill master, Noe found solace in front of the pit cooking up a feast for his loved ones. During any family gathering, you’d always find him by the pit or in the kitchen cutting up all the goodness he just cooked up. His hobbies included fishing, WinStar, his kids and grandkids, and his frequent dates with his beautiful wife. Noe’s spirit of kindness and gentleness extended beyond his family. He was a father to many, and as a jack of all trades, he was always ready to lend a helping hand. He loved sweets, any kind of sweets, even though he knew he was only allowed a minimal amount, his eyes would light up at the site of cake! His smile was infectious and lit up the room. He was loved! Noe is preceded in death by his parents, Delfina and Jose Hinojosa, his sisters, Diana Hinojosa, and Angelita Benavidez, his brother, Joe C. Hinojosa, his special niece, Didra H. De Los Santos, and his special nephew, Joseph J. Torres. He is survived by his loving wife, Tammy, his 5 children, his many grandchildren, his sisters Mary (Lala) Vega, Ninfa Hinojosa, Sylvia Limon, and Gilda Garcia, and his brother Gabriel Hinojosa, and a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins. A viewing/wake service will be Monday, July 8, 2024 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Dallas First Church 5606 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211. A service to celebrate Noe’s life will be held on July 9, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. at Dallas First Church, 5606 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX 75211. Following the service, Noe will be laid to rest at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, with a reception to follow at the Dallas First Church Activity Center. Noe Hinojosa's story is one of faith, dedication, love, and an unwavering commitment to his family. He will be deeply missed, but the seeds he planted in the hearts of those who knew him will continue to grow and flourish for generations to come.
