Misty Elizabeth Llewellyn (Misty Petty), 35, loving wife, mother, daughter and friend to everyone passed away while surrounded by her family Tuesday, February 14, 2023. Visitation: 11 to 1 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Pleasantview Baptist Church located at 4400 Pleasantview Dr, Arlington, TX, 76017. Funeral Services to follow at same location at 1 p.m. Misty was born in Dallas, Texas and has been a longtime resident in Arlington. She loved her husband, three daughters and all of her family more than words could express. Being a Mom was very important to her and she was always involved in all of her children's activities. Like much of her family, Misty was known to be a strong and devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys. She rarely missed a game and could always be found in her favorite Cowboys jerseys. One of the things that will live on for those of us that were blessed enough to know Misty, was her smile. One family member wrote "she could lift spirits of everyone she came in contact with and made friends everywhere she went". She was fun, loving and always made everyone feel warm and loved. Praise and worship were an important part of Misty's life as she had a strong relationship with her Lord and savior. Even in her most difficult struggles in life she loved Jesus and would tell you exactly that. Praise and worship were her favorite parts of Sunday services. Misty was preceded in death by her Grandparents Richard and Joan Deering, Grandfather William Cooper, two Aunts Dannie and Ruby Cooper and one Uncle Dr. Fred Turner. Survivors Include: her Husband Devon Llewellyn of Arlington, TX, her three daughters Miley, Bella and Malea also of Arlington, TX, Parents Richard and Mary Deering of Arlington, TX, Brothers Richard Deering of St Cloud, MN and Justin Petty of Arlington, TX, Sisters Ashley Petty of Arlington, TX and Amber Deering of Coppell, TX, Grandmother Odessa Cooper of Arlington, TX and eight nieces Amanda, Hailey, Kaitlyn, Macie, Olice, Anna, Emmy and Kenzie. Funeral Services: 1 P.M. Saturday, February 25, 2023 at Pleasantview Baptist Church located at 4400 Pleasantview Dr, Arlington, TX, 76017.
