Margaret Lucille Tolle

Margaret Johnston Tullous Tolle, 93, daughter of the early pioneer families of Arlington, Texas, passed away on April 27, 2021 at her home near Fort Worth, Texas. Visitation: 11 AM to 12 PM Funeral Services: 12 PM to 1 PM May 5th 2021 Held at First Christian Church of Arlington, 910 S Collins St, Arlington, Texas 76010 with Steve Digby officiating. Interment: 2 PM May 5, 2021 at DFW National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, Texas 75211. Pallbearers will be Trey Tullous, Trent Tullous Fite, Tucker Tullous, Jack Tullous, Landon Tullous and Gray Strickland. Margaret was born in Arlington, Texas on May 14, 1927, the daughter of the late Charles and Beulah Johnston family. The Johnston family owned and operated Johnston Studio and Camera shop, the first photography/camera studio in Arlington, Texas. She would live in Arlington most of her life, graduating from Arlington High School in 1945. She retired after many years working as a PBX operator for the retail giant Joske's. Margaret loved singing and dancing. Along with her husband, they would spend countless hours ballroom and square dancing. With her mothers gifted green thumb and appreciation of the outdoors, she spent a large portion of her time making sure her yard was beautiful. She always kept up with her appearance, no matter working or at home, people were always astonished of her age and beauty. She was beautiful, spry and always willing to help others in need. Survivors: husband of forty-six years, Vern Tolle; son, Glen Tullous II; grandchildren, Jack Tullous and wife, Lauren Tullous of Grand Prairie, Lucas Tullous of Fort Worth, Trey Tullous and wife, Meridth Tullous of Aledo, Trent Tullous Fite and wife, Regan Tullous Fite of Fort Worth, Tucker Tullous of Wellington, FL; 12 great-grandchildren; sister, Charlene Miller and sister-in-law, Grace Johnston and a large extended family. She was preceded in death by, Glen "Jack" Eldon Tullous Sr, daughter Deborah Tullous, daughter in-law Laura Tullous, sister and husband Gladys and Tommy Jeter, sister and husband Marjorie and Fred Glass, brother Irvin Johnston, brother in-law J.D.
