Karen Morales

With sadness, we announce the passing of Karen Morales, age 19, who left this world tragically in a car accident on May 4, 2025. Karen was born on April 7, 2006, in Dallas, Texas, and was primarily raised in Little Elm. She was a bright, creative spirit who graduated from Crosswinds High School in Grand Prairie in 2024 and was known for her kind heart and zest for life. Karen worked with her dad helping him cut down trees. Her warmth and enthusiasm were felt by all who met her. She had a remarkable ability to connect with people, brightening their days with her vibrant personality. Her passions included writing, painting, and gardening, as she found joy in nurturing the plants around her home-both inside and out. She cherished spending time outdoors, hiking, and exploring nature. She also had a deep love for music and dancing, often sharing joyful moments with her family as they celebrated life together. Karen is survived by her beloved mother, Maria Morales, her sisters, Genesis, Isabelle, and twin sister, Kiara, her grandmother, Delma Camarrillo; aunts, uncles and cousins. Her love for her family was evident in everything she did, and she will be deeply missed by those who were fortunate enough to know her. Graveside service will be conducted on Monday, May 12, 2025, at 1:30 pm at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Rest in peace, dear Karen. Your spirit will forever be woven into our hearts. Karen was preceded in death by her father, Robert "Bobby" Morales. Robert D. Morales, a husband to his love of his life Maria Morales and a loving father to his beautiful four girls. He was also a caring brother and friend, who left us on May 4, 2025, at the age of 49 after succumbing to injuries of an automobile accident. Born on January 23, 1976, Robert lived a life that was vibrant, full of love, and deeply connected to family and friends. Robert graduated from Pearsall High School and went to trade school in McKinney Tx. where he met his beautiful wife. He was an active participant in football and cross country track, cherishing the camaraderie he found in sports. After graduation, Robert didn't hesitate to embrace his next adventure and married the love of his Maria Morales. For the next twenty-nine years, he devoted himself to his family, creating a legacy of love with his wife and their four incredible daughters, Genesis, Isabelle, Karen and Kiara. Professionally, Robert dedicated many years to graphic printing, honoring his artistic skills before taking a bold step to start his own business, GBK Tree Services and GBK Insurance. His entrepreneurial spirit was a testament to his hard work and determination. Even amidst his busy schedule, Robert maintained a passion for the outdoors; you could often find him running, biking, or hiking, enjoying the beauty of nature. He had a love for the beach and was proud of his many tattoos, each telling a story of his adventures in life. Robert is survived by his wife, Maria; his cherished daughters, Genesis, Isabelle, and Kiara; his loving mother, Delma Camarrillo; and his siblings, Edward Morales, Leslie Burks, Lisa Samaniego, and Michelle Perez. Each holds countless memories that reflect Robert's kind heart and infectious spirit. Graveside service will be conducted Monday, May 12, 2025 at 1:30 pm at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. In this time of sorrow, let us remember Robert for the warmth he shared and the many lives he touched. His spirit will forever remain in our hearts, guiding us as we navigate this world without him. Rest easy, Robert; you will be deeply missed and always remembered. Robert was preceded in death by his father, Luciano Morales, brother Luciano Morales, Jr. and along with his beloved daughter, Karen Morales which Karen and Bobby were always together and loved each other deeply.
