Junia Follis

Beautiful Junia Lee Follis was welcomed to the world 50 days early on July 19, 2022. Her heart, which had been beating perfectly despite its imperfections, could no longer keep a healthy pace. When her family learned she had a bonus chromosome, they poured themselves into providing everything she needed and looked forward to the joy she would bring them. She was the calmest baby unless she had good reason to be mad. Her alert blue eyes seemed to study everything around her. She snuggled in close for cuddles and knew she was loved. This sweet little fighter lived for 98 days at Dallas Children's Hospital where she was cared for by wonderful people, with her family right there with her the whole time. Her parents held her close even through her last breath on October 25, 2022. Services to follow at 2 pm concluding with a formal procession to graveside service at Mountain Creek Cemetery located at 2099 Hardy Rd, Grand Prairie, Tx 75051. Junia was named after the only woman apostle named in the Bible (Romans 16:7). Her middle name, Lee, is in honor of her mother, Melissa Lea, and her Grammy, Sylvia Lee. She had infinite potential to become and experience so much. The body of this little "sent one" is returned to the earth on All Saint's Day, a day to remember those who have gone to heaven before us. She is survived by her parents, Randall "Randy" James Follis and Melissa Lea Foster Follis; brother, Erin Victor Foster; sister, Clara Hope Follis; paternal grandmother ("Grammy"), Sylvia Lee Burcham Follis; maternal grandparents ("Opa" and "Oma"), Charles "Chuck" Foster and Ina Ruth "Ruth" Lovett Foster; and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins who celebrated her life. She is preceded in heaven by her aunt, Rebecca "Becky" Hope Foster, and her grandfather ("Papa Jack"), Roland Jack Follis.
