Jerry Frank Farley

It is with a mix of sadness and celebration that we announce the passing of Jerry Frank Farley, who left this world on July 21, 2025. Jerry lived a fulfilling life marked by love, service, and adventure. He was a devoted husband, father, grandad, great grandad and brother. His legacy lives on in the hearts of his beloved family, including his wife of fifty-five years Annette Farley, his sons Danny and Guy-Mundy, and his cherished grandchildren and great grandchildren spanning three generations. Jerry dedicated over forty years of his life to public service, proudly serving both the Dallas County Sheriff's and Constables Office. He was also a proud teacher of the Auto Collision class in Mesquite ISD. His commitment to his community exemplified his generous spirit and unwavering sense of duty. As the oldest of three siblings, he embraced the role of leader and protector, qualities he carried into every aspect of his life. As a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, Jerry carried the values of service and loyalty, not only in his military endeavors but also through his lifelong involvement in the Mesquite Masonic Lodge. His bonds with brother Masons enriched his life, providing treasured friendships. A man of many passions, Jerry was an enthusiastic drag racing fan, and spent countless hours in his youth maintaining and racing his own cars. Jerry and Annette owned several classic cars that they enjoyed driving and showing off at car shows. Jerry also loved hunting and fishing, where he found solace in nature. He is survived by his wife, Annette Farley; son, Danny Farley and his wife Lecia; sister, Sarah Kilpatrick and husband Stan; daughter in law, Amber Farley; grandchildren, Lincoln, Shana, Chris, MaKayla, and Kymber; great-grandchildren, Cass, Kolbey, Grayson, Marley and Baylor; great-great grandchildren, Jasper and Caroline. Jerry had so much love for his family and was very close to his sisters, Sarah and Connie. He was preceded in death by parents, Jack and Louise Farley; son, Guy-Mundy Farley, and sister, Connie Farley. Jerry's life was a testament to the power of love, dedication, and living life to the fullest. He loved the Lord and his church. We invite friends and family to join us in celebrating his extraordinary journey. Memorial Service: 12 pm Thursday, July 31, 2025 at Macedonia Baptist Church, 2214 Franklin Dr., Mesquite, TX, 75150 with Committal with Military Honors at 3 pm at Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery.
