It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Jeanie Epps, a beloved wife, mother, sister, grandma, GiGi and faithful servant of Christ. Born on January 11, 1950, in Dallas, Texas, Jeanie peacefully departed this world on October 14, 2024. Throughout her life, Jeanie showcased her talent and passion for crafting, finding joy in quilting and needlework. Her dedication to her creativity brought happiness to not only herself but to all who were fortunate enough to witness her handiwork. A devout worshiper and servant of Christ, Jeanie actively participated in the nurturing community of the Haven Church of the Nazarene in Grand Prairie, where her faith shone brightly and touched many lives. She radiated kindness, love, and compassion, leaving an indelible mark on all she encountered. Growing up as the middle child of 3 daughters, she had a close bond with her father, and then after his passing, her step-father. Additionally, she was a proud alumna of Garland High School, where she forged lifelong friendships and memories. Jeanie is survived by her loving spouse of thirty-seven years, James "Jim" Epps, her children Brandy Pryde, Ginger Acosta (Robert), Steve Epps (Laura), and Brian Epps (Debbie), her cherished 5 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren and her extended family. Their loss is deeply felt, but their hearts are filled with the love and memories they shared with Jeanie. A funeral service to honor and celebrate Jeanie Epps' life will be held at the Haven Church of the Nazarene in Grand Prairie at 11 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2024, a place that held a special significance in her heart. Pastor Ron Adams will officiate. The ceremony will be a testament to her unwavering faith and the love she shared with those around her. In the wake of her passing, let us all remember Jeanie's warm spirit, generous heart, and unyielding devotion to her loved ones and her community. May her legacy of love and faith continue to inspire and uplift us all. Rest peacefully, dear Jeanie, knowing that your memory will forever be cherished, and your light will shine on in the hearts of those who knew and loved you.
