Darr Wayne Heath

Darr Wayne Heath, cherished Husband, Father, Grandfather, Son, Brother, Uncle and Friend passed away at home on August 1, 2026, after a long battle with military service-connected illnesses. Darr was born in Terrell, Texas and was the youngest of 3 children born to the Frederick Earl Heath and Billie Lee Heath. He was known for his sense of humor and his love of God, family and country, which guided his life. He had an easy way of bringing people together with a canon of old jokes, entertaining stories (he never let the truth get in the way of a good one), and a natural sincere charm. Darr never missed an opportunity to go fishing, always had a love for cars, and developed a passion for gardening after his retirement. He enjoyed cruises to the Caribbean and Alaska, playing online games with family and friends, and spending time with his two wonderful grandchildren and dogs. Darr will be remembered for the wit and wisdom he brought to everyday moments and for the way he supported and valued the people he loved. His faith, devotion, work ethic and character left a lasting impact on everyone who had the privilege to know him. He was preceded in death by his father Frederick Earl Heath and his three beloved Belgian Malinois - Cirus, Heriett and Axel. Darr is survived by his wife of 29 years, Jamie; mother, Billie Lee Heath; mother-in-law, Mary Lou Brashear; brothers Frederick Earl Heath Jr. and Joe Donald Heath and his wife Pam; brothers-in-law Jody David Morgan and his wife Kathryn, and Jay Allen Brashear and his wife Donna; his children Jonathan Darr Heath, Aaron David Heath, Alexa Rae Beasley and her husband Blake, Lauren Reed Tiesman, and Tucker Garrett Heath and his fiancé Bela Gallindo; and two grandchildren, Oliver Wayne Bohrnstedt and Kaden Alan Beasley. He is also survived by his much-loved nieces and nephews, along with many extended family members and friends. A Celebration of Life will be held on August 22, 2026 at 10:00 am at Fellowship Forney, 417 Pinson Road, Forney, Texas 75126.
