Caleb Glen Whisler

Caleb Glen Whisler, of Anna TX, was born in Alexandria, LA on November 19, 1988. Caleb received his angel wings on Thursday January 21st, 2021. His final evening was spent with his family, Lacy, Brody and Gabby as they had dinner and watched a movie together. His family and friends all agree that they were touched in some way throughout his 32 years and very memorable life. Caleb’s gentle smile, larger than life presence and genuine humble spirit will never be forgotten. The family will receive friends from 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m. Friday, January 29, 2021 at Heartland Church, 4020 Nazarene Drive, Carrollton, TX where funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 30, 2021, Pastor Dusty Dean officiating. Pallbearers: Bradley Pierce, Brent Pierce, Hunter Hale, Josh Yates, Kyle Echols, Brandon Hicks; Honorary Pallbearers: Greg Henry, Cody Pierce, Devin Dean, Jason Thompson, Craig Longley, Zack Nollner, Corey Prisoc, Pat Teagarden, Steven Vaquera. Burial will occur on Sunday, January 31, 2021 at Kilpatrick Serenity Gardens in West Monroe, LA. Caleb graduated from Centennial High School in Frisco, TX in 2007, and went on to receive a Bachelor of Business Administration degree, focused in Entrepreneurship, from the University of North Texas. He worked for Kofile Technologies in Dallas, TX as an Automation Quality Assurance Test Lead. Caleb was a member of Heartland Church in Carrollton, TX where he served on the Worship Team. He was a talented and skilled musician, and he could spend hours in his favorite chair strumming his guitar. His greatest passion was his love for God and his family. His love for Lacy, Brody and Gabby was undeniable. Caleb is survived by his loving spouse and best friend, Lacy Whisler. They were married on December 8, 2012. Together they had two wonderful children who were his pride and joy. His son, Brody Glen and his daughter Gabby Rae, and his best buddy Diesel, all of Anna, TX; Caleb was also survived by his parents Stephen and Gwen Whisler of McKinney, TX; his sister Brittany Whisler Smith and brother-in-law Austin Smith, and their children Sophia Clark, Eden Smith, Brody Tyler Smith all of Las Vegas, NV; his father-in-law and mother-in-law Randy and Beverly McManus of Monroe, LA. Caleb was preceded in death by his grandparents Albert and Jean Hale of Jonesville, LA; Glen and Angela Whisler of Bakersfield, CA.
