Timothy Wayne Bitner
February 4, 1991 - February 19, 2022
Timothy Bitner was born February 4, 1991 in Lubbock, Texas. He grew up in Mexico from the age of 2. Timothy, was the son of Jerry and Bonnie Bitner, who were Missionaries in Mexico for 22 years. He put his faith and trust in Jesus at age 8 when during family devotional one night he told his mom, "I need to be saved". His dad took a Bible and led him to a personal relationship with Jesus. At age 24, he and his family moved to Arlington, Texas, where they resided. He loved the people and land of Mexico and shared Jesus with them. He is loved and is remembered by the children there who became great friends with him. He loved to play soccer, to play video games and most of all he loved his family. He enjoyed visits with his aunt and uncle, Donna and Mike Gilbert during furlough visits, where he played with his cousins Jennifer and Jeremy Gilbert. His best friend was his dad, Jerry. Recently, he cared for Jerry through Jerry's fight with cancer and ultimate victory over death when God called Jerry home less than 2 months before Timothy died. Timothy was a great help to his parents and comfort for his mom after his dad's death. He went home to be with the Lord on February 19, 2022 and has now found his hope and peace. He is now with his Heavenly Father and his best friend and dad, Jerry. Visitation: 12 to 1 p.m. Friday, March 4, 2022 at Calvary Baptist Church, 401 Church Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050, followed immediately by Funeral Services at 1. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens in Irving.
