Loretta BeDair Parker, 81, our beloved mother, grandmother and sister, entered into her eternal home early Saturday morning, Sept. 26, 2020 at a hospital in Plano. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, October 1, 2020 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050. Burial: 3 p.m. Monday, October 5, 2020 at Oak Bluff Memorial Park in Port Neches, Texas. Loretta Parker was born on February 21, 1939 in Groves, Texas, the 2nd of 5 children born to the late James Edward BeDair Sr. and the late Hazel DeHart BeDair. She would be raised in Groves, graduating from Port Neches Groves High School. She would move her young family to Irving, where she was extremely active in their extracurricular activities. She was a doting mother, always in attendance to support them at any of their games, all the way through graduations at Irving High School. Loretta was a great example to her children, trusting in God and showing them a life of sobriety. Trusting in her faith, she was a long-time member of First Baptist Church of Irving. She worked many years as a legal secretary for Hunt Industries before moving to AFEES. She was always a hard worker, putting in far more hours a week than the average person. Survivors: children, Diana Denise Parker McUrley, Keith Damon Parker and his wife, Tammy, Kraig Ian Parker and his spouse Jo; 9 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, Nelda BeDair Heath, James Edward BeDair Jr, Carolyn BeDair Thomas and her spouse Bill, Michael BeDair and his spouse Brenda. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Korey Parker.
