Juan Gilberto Martinez, 51, an employee of Clay Cooley Auto, passed away unexpectedly on Monday, July 12, 2021 at a local hospital. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050 where a Prayer Service will be conducted at 6:30, where Funeral Services will follow on Friday at 10 a.m.. Burial will immediately follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Juan Gilberto Martinez was born on October 31, 1969, the 3rd of 4 children born to the late Gilberto Martinez and the late Griselda Silva Martinez. He was a graduate of North Dallas High School where he excelled in wood-working. After high school, he would pursue his passion of working on automobile engines at Lincoln Tech, leading him to a career with local auto dealerships. It was a driving passion, often displayed by his work on his Chevrolet C10, adoringly called "B Red'. Juan loved spending time with his family. You would often find him watching old movies or transformer movies. He had a soft side, evident in his special relationship with his kitty, Eric. He is survived by his sisters, Juana Martinez and spouse Lizandro Ramos, Griselda Martinez and spouse Javier Martinez; brother, Alfredo Martinez; nieces and nephews.
