Jose "Joe" Ismael Pompa Jr., 61, a native of Lubbock and long-time resident of Grand Prairie, passed away Friday, October 23, 2020 at his home. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 2, 2020 at Jesus Centro de Avivaniento, 2305 SE 14th Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75051 where funeral services will be conducted at 12 Tuesday. Burial: Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens. Joe Pompa was born on October 5, 1959, the oldest of 8 children born to Jose Ismael Pompa Sr. and Andrea Rodriguez Pompa. The family would move to Grand Prairie where he would attend school, graduating from South Grand Prairie High School. He would become an employee of Texstar where he worked for more than thirty years. Survivors: wife of twenty-five years, Maria C. Pompa; children, Samuel Sepeda and spouse Jessica, Amanda de Paula and spouse Fabio, Jose Sepeda and spouse Amanda, Jeremy Gonzales and spouse Ashley, Brandi Molen and spouse Bryan; grandchildren, Alexsandra, Andressa, Alyanna, Lukas, Destiny, Delilah, Daisy, Melody, Zachary, Maverick, Patlynn, Mariska, Robert, Carly, Khloe, Samuel Eli, Tucker, Allyson, Kaylee, great-grand children, Carter, Mason, Alena, parents, Jose Sr. and Andrea Pompa; siblings, John Pompa, Lisa Segovia and spouse Noel, Sylvia Suarez and spouse Rudy, Gloria Cazares and spouse Tony, Anna Thamez and spouse Louis, Yolanda Queen and spouse Gary, Marcelino Pompa and spouse Cynthia.
