Helen Marie Taylor Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Helen Marie Taylor, 84, of Grand Prairie, Texas, went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, June 24, 2022, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on May 19, 1938, in Katy, Texas, to the late, Herman Henry Gumbert, and the late Katie Maples Gumbert. Helen enjoyed many things such as quilting, sewing, crafting, and playing board games with her family and friends. Over the years she attended several churches, she had a special place in her heart for each of her church families. She was also a proud member of the Red Hat Dazzlers Club in Whitney, Texas. She is preceded in death by her Husband, Deany Taylor; brother, Willie Gumbert; sisters, Vinnie Moore, Ethel McGehee, and Mary Jackson. Helen is survived by her children; son, Ernie Taylor of Waxahachie, Texas; daughter, Debbie Boerner and husband Gerald of Pilot Point, Texas; son, Gary Taylor and wife Tracy of Grand Prairie, Texas; daughter, Shari Hyde and husband David of Streetman, Texas; grandchildren, Ashley, Amber, David Glen, Josh, Briana, Jamie, April, Taylor, and Haven; 14 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Wednesday, June 29th, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Guerrero Dean Funeral Home. The funeral will be held Friday, 10 a.m. at Kerrville Funeral Home, 1221 Junction Hwy, Kerrville, TX 78028 with Pastor, Brian Loveless, officiating. Burial will be Saturday. 10 a.m., at The Garden of Memories Cemetery, 1517 TX-16, Kerrville, TX 78028 Arrangements entrusted to Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home under the direction of Aaron King, Funeral Director.
