Gwen was a career recruiter and won many awards for her successes, and was a faithful member of Heartland Church in Carrollton, TX. Throughout her life she was a talented and anointed singer, songwriter and musician. She will be remembered most for her passion for music and for worship. She was the prayer warrior of her home. She loved to cook and was great at it. She had a very generous and loving heart towards others, and cooked for several people in the neighborhood that were disabled or in need. She expected nothing in return except for the satisfaction of knowing they enjoyed her cooking. She truly was a God sent angel into our lives and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Gwen lived for her children and grandchildren Survivors: husband, Stephen Glen Whisler; daughter Brittany Whisler Smith and her husband Austin, their children Sophia Clark, Eden Smith, Brody Tyler Smith, all of Las Vegas, NV. Daughter-in-law Lacy Whisler, her children Brody Glen and Gabby Rae all of Anna, TX. Gwen deeply loved her five grandchildren so much. She is also survived by her sister Deborah Pierce of Benton, AR; brother Delan Hale and his wife Paula of Hattiesburg, MS; brother, Mark Hale and his wife Tawana of Franklinton, LA. She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Betty Jean Hale of Jonesville, LA; brother Kevin R. Hale of Franklinton, LA; and her son Caleb Glen Whisler of Anna, TX.
