Armando DeLeon, 62, beloved husband, brother and uncle, was called to his eternal resting place on April 4, 2022. He entered this world on June 20, 1959 in Alice, TX, born to the late Jose and Belen DeLeon. Visitation: 5 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 11, 2022 at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home, 500 E Main Street, Grand Prairie, TX, 75050, where a Prayer Service will be conducted at 6. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, 2022 at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. Armando DeLeon was the 3rd of 7 children. He was raised in Grand Prairie where he graduated high school before enrolling at Devry University where he received his degree in aeronautic engineering. He worked for Boeing in Grand Prairie, then at BAE Systems before transferring to Boeing again in Seattle, WA. He retired in December of 2021 after thirty years of service. He was an avid baseball fan and follower of the Texas Rangers Baseball team. He also was a faithful supporter of the Grand Prairie Airhogs. His love for softball led his to become the Hispanic Director of the US Specialty Sports Association. He would travel many places around the world to promote their causes. He is survived by his wife, Patt Otero; mother, Belen DeLeon; brother, Albert DeLeon; sister, Alma McCullough and spouse Wesley, brother, Jose DeLeon, sister, Annabell DeLeon, brother, Marcos DeLeon; nieces and nephews; Ian McCullough, Jose Monjares, Marianne DeLeon, Anna DeLeon, Cameron DeLeon, Adam Rodriguez, Gabriel Rodriguez, Whitney Rodriguez, Brescia Christie, Brett Christie, Killian Christie, Sejin Rodriguez; mother-in-law, Celia Rodriguez, brother-in-laws, David Rodriguez, Larry Rodriguez, Gary Rodriguez, Alan Benest and sister-in-law, Angie Rodriguez.
