Virginia "Budgie" Gutierrez, 68, went to be with her Lord and Savior, Friday, January 15, 2010. Virginia was born in Bent, NM., on March 11, 1941. She married Johnny F. Gutierrez, of Alamogordo and they celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on September 12, 2009. Virginia loved her religion, family, Dallas Cowboys and of course, her Texas Rangers.

Virginia is survived by her husband, Johnny F. Gutierrez of Grand Prairie, TX; children, Mary Neppel of Grand Prairie, Gloria Fuller of Grand Prarie, Angela Najar and her husband Daniel of Grand Prairie, John Gutierrez of Dallas, Carol Bednar and her husband Jessie of Grand Prairie; 14 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Also by three siblings; Victor Jaramillo and his wife Nell of Ruidoso, NM, Arselia Herrera of Tularosa, NM., Mary Marrujo and husband Louis of Tlarosa, NM. and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Jose P. Jaramillo; sister, Cleotilde Garcia of Alamorgordo; mother, Cleofitas Jaramillo of Tularosa, NM.; father, Jose H. Jaramillo of Tularosa.

The family wishes to thank Father Joseph and the members of St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church for their prayers and support. In addition, the family's sincere gratitude and appreciation is expressed to the dedicated, professional nurses and staff of Texas health Arlington Memorial, who provided loving care for our mother in her final hours of need.

Our mother lived for the Lord each day and has left behind a lasting legacy. She will be dearly missed by her loving family and numerous friends.

Visitation: 12 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Guerrero-Dean Funeral Home with Rosary Service at 7. Mass of Christian Burial: 10 a.m. Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Grand Prairie.
