Blanch Hunter Boatright, 93, entered the presence of the Lord on January 14, 2010 at 2:32 p.m. in Dallas, Texas.

Mrs. Boatright was born July 23, 1916 in Malakoff, Texas, the 11th of 11 children born to the late Daniel Luther Hunter and the late Edna Adelia Fulks Hunter.

She married the late Rev. Henry Ernest Boatright on May 27, 1931, beginning their ministry together that would last for the next 68 years. They originally began as evangelists, and later would become pioneer ministers for the Assemblies of God. Together they would begin 10 new works, pastor 21 established churches and reopen 15 churches.

During her life, she would see her family blessed with 8 children, 20 grandchildren, 44 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren. (with 1 more "on the way")

She is survived by 2 sons; Rev. Melvin Boatright and his wife Bessie of Gilmer, TX, Paul Boatright and his wife Sandy of Newellton, LA; 3 daughters, Jean Boatright of Grand Prairie, TX, Edna Ruth Beggs and her husband Rev. Max Beggs of Amarillo, TX, and Glenda Hall and her husband, Rev. Leland Hall of Grand Prairie, TX.

Also by 2 daughter-in-laws; Margaret Boatright of Gun Barrel City, TX, Lanell Boatright of Tyler, TX, 18 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Daniel Luther Hunter and Edna Adelia Fulks Hunter; husband of 68 years, Rev. Henry Ernest Boatright; children; Joseph Wade Boatright of the home, Rev. Thurman Boatright of Gun Barrel City, TX, Floyd Boatright of Tyler, TX; 2 grandchildren; Michael Boatright of Shreveport, LA, Pam Sepmoree of Tyler, TX; great-grandchildren; Joshua and Luke Laney of Tyler, TX.

Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, January 15, 2010 at Victory Temple, 2101 Acosta Drive, Grand Prairie, TX, 75051, where she was a member. Funeral: 2 p.m. Saturday, January 16, 2010 at Full Gospel Assembly, 702 Kings Highway, Kilgore, TX., Rev. Earl Teeter and Rev. Barry Boatright officiating. Burial will follow in the Rusk County Memorial Gardens.
